Lawson State Community College Training
At the urging of Dr. John Vickers of Alabama A&M, a small group of people from Lawson State Community College in Birmingham attended the TSU Spring 1998 workshop on writing web pages. They were pleased with what was accomplished there, and asked Dr. Jim Holloway and Charlie Wrenn from the TSU NRTS to conduct a similar workshop at Lawson State for some faculty and staff.
Assisted by Dr. Vickers, Dr. Holloway and Charlie Wrenn conducted the workshop at Lawson State. Dr. Vickers had outlined how the LSCC web site should look; the attendees were then able to construct model pages fitting this outline. At the end of the workshop, everyone had a usable document to be placed on the LSCC node. These base pages can now be updated and maintained easily.
